The RMR downpipe for the Evolution is mandrel bent using 3" T-304 stainless steel piping. It bolts directly to the O2 housing and converter using all factory hardware. This pipe does not remove any catalytics on the car, making it completely street legal! The RMR downpipe bolts right to the factory Evo converter, requiring no welding, cutting or matching off-road pipe/high-flow converter.

This is a great "bang for your buck" upgrade for the Evolution, but for even higher gains, use it in conjunction with a 3" cat-back exhaust system, like the matching RMR system.

The RMR downpipe should work with most other aftermarket Evo exhaust systems that maintain the stock location of conveter, but every aftermarket cat/testpipe connection is different depending on the system and who made it.

NOTE: this, and any, 3" downpipe will not fit the Evo with the stock tie bars because of the added size. If you wish to keep the chassis as stiff as possible, the RMR brace (Suspension section) is stonger than the stock bars and has clearance for 3" downpipes.
