The RMR 3" stainless steel cat-back exhaust is one of the best Evolution exhaust system we've seen to date in terms of fit and finish, looks and sound, and of course, performance. Unlike most other exhaust systems for the Evolution, the RMR cat-back uses flanged connections. There are no slip fit connections anywhere on this system. Once installed, there are no clamps to check for signs of loosening and no crimped pipes from over-tightened clamps.

The RMR cat-back exhaust system has a straight-through design and the high flow muffler is able to achieve maximum performance while still maintaining a streetable and sound. A polished stainless steel muffler and angle-cut 4" tip finish off the system so your competition has something really nice to look at while you are out in front!

The system is made from 3" mandrel bent T-304 stainless steel piping and uses all factory hangers, O2 sensor and flanges. It requires absolutely no cutting or welding, bolts on to the stock converter, and fits the Evolution like it was made by Mitsubishi.

Currently, the RMR cat-back exhaust system is the only 50 state street legal exhaust system for the Evo 8. It meets the DOT 95db limit at idle and at full speed, both with and without the matching RMR downpipe.

Everything necessary for the install is included with the kit, including hardware and gaskets. RMR is so thorough, the kit even includes replacement nuts and lock washers for the factory self-locking nuts on the conveter connection, which are "one-use" items by design.
